PUBG Among 118 More Mobile Apps Banned by Indian Govt: 118 Full List Of Banned Apps ;

New Delhi: Indian government on Wednesday blocked 118 more mobile applications, including PUBG in the interest of "sovereignty and integrity of India, defence of India, security of state and public order" by invoking Section 69 of Information Technology Act.

The banned apps include Baidu, Baidu Express Edition, Tencent Watchlist, FaceU, WeChat Reading, Ludo All Star, Alipay and Tencent Weiyun, besides PUBG Mobile and PUBG Mobile Lite, according to an official statement.

"The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India invoking it’s power under section 69A of the Information Technology Act read with the relevant provisions of the Information Technology (Procedure and Safeguards for Blocking of Access of Information by Public) Rules 2009 and in view of the emergent nature of threats has decided to block 118 mobile apps since in view of information available they are engaged in activities which is prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defence of India, security of state and public order," the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology said in an official release.

The Ministry said it has received many complaints from various sources including several reports about misuse of some mobile apps available on Android and iOS platforms for "stealing and surreptitiously transmitting users’ data in an unauthorized manner to servers which have locations outside India".

"The compilation of these data, its mining and profiling by elements hostile to national security and defence of India, which ultimately impinges upon the sovereignty and integrity of India, is a matter of very deep and immediate concern which requires emergency measures. The Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre, Ministry of Home Affairs has also sent an exhaustive recommendation for blocking these malicious apps.. Likewise, there have been similar bipartisan concerns, flagged by various public representatives, both outside and inside the Parliament of India. There has been a strong chorus in the public space to take strict action against Apps that harm India’s sovereignty as well as the privacy of our citizens.

"On the basis of these and upon receiving of recent credible inputs that information posted, permissions sought, functionality embedded as well as data harvesting practices of above stated Apps raise serious concerns that these Apps collect and share data in surreptitious manner and compromise personal data and information of users that can have a severe threat to security of the State.

"In the interest of sovereignty and integrity of India, defence of India and security of the State. And using the sovereign powers, the Government of India has decided to block the usage of certain Apps, used in both mobile and non-mobile Internet enabled devices. These apps are listed in the attached appendix," the ministry added.

This move will safeguard the interests of crores of Indian mobile and internet users. This decision is a targeted move to ensure safety, security and sovereignty of Indian cyberspace, the ministry said further.

The latest move from Indian government comes at a time when China allegedly made a transgression attempt near the southern bank of Pangong Tso which was thwarted by the Indian Army.

In June this year, India banned 59 apps with Chinese links, including TikTok, UC Browser, Weibo, Baidu Map and Baidu Translate saying they were prejudicial to sovereignty, integrity and security of the country.

 1. Good camera application 

The first tip is to use a good camera application. Now depending on the phone you're using the phone comes with the stock camera application that is inverted. Now, certain companies are very good with the stock camera application like one plus, Samsung Apple pictures with other cameras, even though the hardware is good. The software is not that good enough. So using a good camera application will give you better images. For example, you can use the Lightroom application. that's an editing application when the camera went in, is good. There are some advanced features as well. I have also used the G cam application that's actually the stock camera of the pixel devices on my eastern plus and shockingly the G camp, actually gives me better, images, the hardware is the same, the cameras lenses settings are the same, but you get better images because you're using better software, which has better image processing.

 

 2. Use the other lenses

The next step is to use other lenses. Now, these smartphones come with usually two or three cameras. If it is three, that is mainly the normal telephoto and wide-angle camera now people get confused exactly when to use, which kind of lens. It's very simple. If you want to capture a landscape, or a wider perspective than the normal lens, use a wide-angle lens. My personal favorite is a wide-angle lens. So I use it for street photography for landscape photography, and I just love it. For normal photos, you can use a normal lens, but when to use the telephoto lens. Now the thing is when you're capturing portraits, you might have noticed there is slight distortion. And that is because the normal lens is also a slightly wider focal length. That is where the telephoto focal length comes into play. It gives you that compression, and this lens distortion and gives you a much pleasing image, other scenarios where you can use the telephoto lens is macro photography. So if you're very close to the subject, and the lens is not able to focus. What you can do is move back. Zoom in and printing the image, you're essentially getting the same image, but with using the different lens, because the lens is not able to focus. So this is how you can use different lenses to make most of your smartphone cameras,

 

 3. Aspect ratio

The third tip is the aspect ratio. Now the default aspect ratio in most of the smartphones is for this to date. The fourth tip is using the grid lines. Now I've talked about grid lines before. And again, I'm talking because it is very important gridlines are very important in smartphone photography. after all, you have a bigger display than a traditional camera, so it becomes easier to visualize your composition, and it becomes even easier if you're using grid lines. Most of the times, I use a three by three grid lines, because I will be focusing on the rule of thirds where I want the subject to be at the intersection of the three lines, or maybe I want one-third of the full ground, two-thirds of the background or vice versa. Then I use the three by three grid lines, the grid lines will also help you to know whether the mobile phone is great, or not when you're shooting cemetery images. You can also use different grid lines, these grid lines are very helpful because it helps to visualize your composition better so that you don't have to mess up later when your post-processing, not talking about post-processing. That brings me to

5. Post-processing 

The last tip is post-processing. Now post-processing is not related to photography I agree, but it is very important when it comes to mobile photography, especially if you're shooting in DNG or raw format, post-processing will help you to bring a lot of details, especially the colors and sharpness, it will help you to transform your images. Now the question I get asked a lot of times is what application to use the two applications that I use is Snapseed, and Lightroom, which one should you use it depends on your expertise level, and what do you need from the software. If you're a beginner, I would prefer to go for Snapseed if you're an amateur and you have a bit of hands-on experience, then go for Lightroom, it's a slightly more advanced software. BTC scammers hijacked Most Popular YouTube channels to Live impersonate  offering bogus BTC giveaways that earned them nearly USD $150,000 over the course of two days.The scamming channels were first reported on Hacker News. Bleeping Computer followed up with a full report

According to Bleeping Computer and the reports filed in the BitcoinAbuse database, the scammers took over legitimate YouTube accounts and changed the branding to look like that of Elon Musk’s rocket company. They were caught live-streaming footage of the founder as he spoke at conferences and during interviews.

The hijacked  Most Popular YouTube channels – previously known as Live News, Right Human, and MaximSakulevich – were renamed Space X Live or SpaceX after crooks got control of them. Then, the channels were used to push scams that asked for a small amount of Bitcoin in exchange for double their money back.

The hijacked Youtube accounts came with sizable numbers of subscribers: one had 230,000 followers, while another had 131,000. The legitimate SpaceX YouTube channel has 4.33 million subscribers. 

The ruse worked. As of Tuesday, there were 80,000 people watching the live stream. Since 8 June, the scam had generated close to $150,000 in bitcoins.

Before they got yanked for violating YouTube policy, the channels running these scams were asking people to send bitcoins to two addresses. One wallet recorded 85 transactions, receiving 11.25 BTC, while a second, with 37 transactions, took in 5.51 BTC.\

They lure in victims by offering free coins online. All the victims have to do is first send a small amount of the cryptocurrency to the address before they receive a beaucoup return.
